Fred,

Evert thing in that write up does apply to the ZEP that I used. If you are near a Home Depo, it will be in the floor product isle. ZEP made the same produce for Lows but had it labeled Red Max 3, but they do not make that label now.
Just looked at my container and can not find a product number.
If you decide to try it, be advised to wear gloved, old cloths and glasses if you use them. Also apply thin coats.

Bill & Fred,

I purchased a gallon a couple of days ago. Home Depot's item number show on my receipt is 021709014471, Floor Finish, @ $24.97.
I have been using Mop & Glo for about four years. Two coats of Mop & Glo seems to hold up for about 5-6 months. I am anxious to see how the Zep compares in finish and durability. Also anxious to see how it works on side wall gel coat. I will probably apply it within a couple of weeks before we head up to the Pacific NW next month. That should be a good trial in rain and hopefully some sunshine. I will report my results this Fall.

Bill, Did you find that it just eventually sloughed off or did the coating seem to flake or peel away in patches? The Mop & Glo just seems to magically disappear. Did you notice any yellowing? Did you apply it in direct sunlight? I will be forced to do that as we have no shade where I live here in Southern California.

None of the ZEP has flaked or peeled off, looks as good as when it was put on. The recommendation for a new coat every year is for when it is used on floors as that is what it was designed for. Do not think mine needs it but will do it anyway. Again, I used a Swiffer floor duster, a squirt bottle and for the roof, the cloth that came with the Swiffer. For the rest of the coach I used a old microfiber cloth [was told a new cloth might bleed] pinned to the Swiffer , discarded after us. It goes fast once you get the feel for the application. I did each section in the early morning in the sun. On the sided, once you get from front to back, have a drink of Texas Champaign -AKA DR. Pepper-- you should be ready for the next coat.

On the sided, by the time I could go from front to back , the front would be dry. This was done while visiting Daughter in Loveland, Co . In my 79th year so things go a little slower now days. Zep does recommend thin coats

My friend did his triple e commander with Zep this. Winter in Mesa. Some of the dark decals now have spots where it is flaking off like the clear coat is coming off. Any ideas on how to remove the flaking areas or fix the problem? The white is fine, seems to be the decals in the darkest color on the coach.

Marc,

Sorry, but have not read about anyone having a problem with the ZEP flaking off. ZEP does make a stripper that might be used to spot clean the affected area and then reapply the ZEP WET-Floor product.

Apply and let dry. That's it?
