I assume that you have the 42" Panasonic monitor as I had. I replaced mine with a 42" Panasonic LED model TC-L42E50. Sorry, no project photos as it was so straight forward they seemed unnecessary.
Just remove all the brass screws around the perimeter and remove the flat panel that is the ceiling when up, and toward the windshield when down. You now have access to the four attaching machine screws. Remove the monitor.
Now you have to organize your thoughts on attaching cables. I ran three HDMIs backk to the electronics cabinet and a USB and internet connection to the overhead above the driver.
Now, measure very carefully the attachment pattern of the new TV an determine where the holes need to be in order to center the TV on the carriage. Drill, attach, cheer your success. Took me about three hours by myself. With help probably would have been four.
