If someone that has a 2007 Allure could look at their inside step cover and see if you have more than one hole where the rod connects to the angle bracket that moves the step forward and backwards. For some reason mine has 3 different holes and still having a problem trying to find that perfect position versus, motor placement.

Kevin, once you loosen up the screws on the bottom of the motor, it has almost 1" of movement right and left from the fully retracted position to the fully extended position. Still have not found that perfect spot yet. I have tried all 3 holes and I have it close, but it still binds up in the most retracted position.
