wet spot in carpet entry to bedroom

We have a 1999 CC Magna Build #5592, on our trip this week using the fresh water tank and water pump, we noticed wet carpet in the middle of the entry to the bedroom. It does not appear to be coming from above the floor. Does anyone know which water lines run under that location and where I can find the line that needs to be replaced?
A local fellow who works on RV's suggested tearing up the carper and floor, but I am wondering if identifying the line and replacing from below would be better.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I recently had a leak on one of the fittings on my water heater and that is how I noticed the problem, i.e., wet spot at the bedroom entrance (single slide/water heater below the closet at the bedroom entrance). If yours is the same configuration pull up the panel at the bottom of the closet and it will be easy to check. It would sure be easier than getting at lines under the floor.

I have a 1999 Magna #5629. I think my floorplan is called Fanfare? My kitchen is on the passenger's side. Anyway, is the carpet wet where it meets the tile from the bathroom? If so, pull the cover off of the toilet and see if it is leaking and possibly standing water(or signs of water) on the floor. Mine did and worked its way under the tile to the bedroom carpet. If you're not sure, put some paper towels on the floor (under the toilet) and check periodically for a leak.

Water can migrate under the floor from various locations. Check water connections at washer/dryer and refer ice maker water valve.

My wet front carpet came from a leak between the roof and the exterior side wall panel above the front door running down the rear jam onto the floor and down into the step well. They had to remove the hifi cabinet and wall panel. Remove the insulation and kill the mold. Then make sure the exterior skin was still attached to the frame, repaint the steel frame, install the insulation, new wall board and the hifi cabinet. The roof cap was peeled open and the wall & roof surfaces cleaned and mounting holes sealed with new fiber glass. Then the roof was reattached to the wall and the metal strip applied and screwed to the frame. Then Everything was painted and resealed. It took almost 10 working days. A few drain holes were left open just in case water came in through the door, that had been removed and reinstalled. I have to thank Ben Barnes at CC for all the work his team performed in early 05. Oh! They had to pull the Patio awning, too and reseal and rebuild the area where the front arm attaches near the roof, too.

Does your Magna have a slide?
Do you have a washer/dryer?

We used to own '99 Magna 5605 with no slide. The water heater is in front of the first compartment on the drivers side so it wouldn't effect the floor.
We did have the toilet fresh water valve leak. It leaked behind the toilet so you didn't see water until it was very wet. It was an easy fix.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I did find that the toilet fresh water fill connection was leaking. I also checked the water heater to see if there was leaking there, it was not.
Now I need to decide to fix or upgrade the Microflush LF 220 or upgrade it to something else.

Has anyone looked at the toilet options for an older CC?
