generator hour question

I saw an affinity 2008 with 9800 miles. It looks real clean but I looked at the generator and it had over 1100hrs. My 05 inspire gen has around 350hr. So my question how many hours can one get on these gen sets and would 1100 hrs indicate heavy use? A dump question but might be fun to hear the answers
