Don't wait for repairs

Yahoo Message Number: 6765
We have a beautiful 2001 coach we ordered from the factory. We have had problems with it since we drove it off the lot. Some still not fixed. For three years now we have allowed C.C. to try to resolve the problems (some as many as 8 times). The first year and a half our serious problems were completely ignored. The past year or so they have bent over backwards to make the repairs, but to no avail.
We are now being reminded that our warranty has been up for 2 years (although they continue to attempt repairs at no charge to us - other than the 1500 miles to get to the factory and the stress involved).
Legal personnel strongly hint that after 3 years we don't have much of a case, frequently asking how many miles do we have on it. (3/4 of which are to factory and/or rallies for repair). If you're having problems, we strongly advise, don't be the patient nice guy. In this case, nice guys finish last. Get strong legal backing and do it quickly. Others we know have had way fewer problems for a much shorter period. They have settled and come out way ahead. We feel as if we are being punished for giving C.C. so many chances and waiting so long. The old saying "The squeaky wheels get the grease" is certainly true in our case. We are paying for it physically and emotionally as well as financially.

Hi Folks,

Would you please share your major problems with the user group.
Sharing might provide some insight into some solutions.

I feel your frustration and empathize with you. We, too, had many many problems but with persistence we've been able to get just about all of them mostly resolved.

May I ask what model coach you have and your coach number. I'd be very interested to know if our coaches were constructed about the same time.
