Inverter Light Question

2004 40' Intrigue w/ Tan CC Serial # 11826
I turned the power switch off by the door on my coach. I did not have my Inverter on.
Now the panel above the door shows the Inverter light on and the button will not
turn it off. My batteries were 100% when parked. One day they went down to 75%.

Is it normal for the inverter light to be on?

If not , do I need to shut the inverter off at the inverter?
