Addition to the Group, and looking forward to sharing all the good things I read as well as some of the troubled issues, that we can all assist in getting others through them. We are Larry and Linda Watland and we have purchased a 2003 CC Magna # 6279 and are in the process of preparing it for our first 6 week trip. I have been reading many of the comments and taking note of ones that I am looking into on our new coach. We are first timers as Land Travelers in a Motorcoach as we have been Sailors most of our lives, but have reached the age that we need sunshine more than water, so here we go. I am sure I will have a number of questions for this group from time to time and look forward to sharing our successes as well as issues. We reside in Washington. but will be heading south.

Larry & Linda, welcome! Congrats on your Magna. This group has helped us so much over the years. We full time in a 33' Allure and we love it! We look forward to hearing about your travels. Don't hesitate to reach out to Kevin Waite who monitors this group. He is a great resource for us.

A hearty welcome from us too, Larry and Linda. There are so many terrifically intelligent people who happily help others here, that you'll be amazed! I'm sure too that you'll love that coach and living in it so well. Hope to see you on the road somewhere.

Welcome Larry and Linda

There are a lot of great people here to help if you have problems with your new coach. down the road. Owning a coach is kind of like being a sailer going from port to port but most of the time you keep your feet dry. Another great forum is http://www.irv2.com/forums/ to check out different things. Looks like you live on the other side of the river, we live in Oregon just outside of Portland. Down the road you may want to join the NWCC http://www.nwccers.org/ and FMCA http://www.fmca.com/chapters/area-rallies there is a big rally in Aug. in Redmond, hope to see you down the road.
Most of the CC place for repairs or upgrades is in Junction City, at the factory http://www.countrycoach.com/ or next door at http://www.premierrvstorage.com/sales/ down the road to http://www.oregonmotorcoachcenter.com/ and next door at http://www.carrierandsons.com/ and upgrades at http://kustomcoachworksrv.com/ and all are ex CC techs so the now your coach. CC is back in business building coaches and service work.
I have had a lot of work done at Carries great people and fast. I also had upgrades done at Kustomcoach (new Dish traveler 1000 satellite system, Samsung 197 RR and Magnum 2812 inverter) all in about 10hrs great work both guys ex CC techs. Hope you don't need any of this but time will tell. Best of luck to you and your new coach.
