Bose 321 from hell

My Bose 321 suddenly started asking for a "parental password" if you try to watch any dvd other than PG. They say to contact their support techs for instructions on how to reset the password. I have never set a password, and can not get through to Bose support, having waited online for over 45 mins only to be cut off. Has anyone had to clear the password?
If so, please let me know how.
