2005 Intrigue Ovation Entry Door Check Squeak

The entry door on our coach has developed a loud squeak. I have traced it to the entry door check. I have uploaded a picture to the photo section "2005 Intrigue Entry Door Check" The squeak is between the main body of the check and the hinge. Before I try to take this apart I'd like to know if anyone else has solved this problem. I talked to Kevin Waite and he is still looking for a similar part for a different customer. He said the other owner took the check off and put it back and the squeak went away. I am hoping the other owner monitors the forum.

It doesn't interfere with the operation of the coach but it is a little embarassing for a coach that looks as nice as ours to make so much noise.
