Sure wish someone would pinpoint Bob's departure and return dates.
I definately don't want another coach built during his absence. Maybe >I'll call and ask the factory.
I'm sure Mr. Lee's Health Situaiton will have a Big influence when he reduces his active involvement in the company again.... You get lots of insite when your wife is a Registered Nurse of 35 years....

Health situation indeed...I met Bob Lee for the first time at the pre rally in York, PA last July and it was obvious that his health is not good...

All this talk about Bob Lee's absence/presence at CC seems rather naive to me. I believe he would be the first to admit he made some mistakes himself ( remember the Max?) and his successor will not be infallible. He has shown himself to be an astute businessman, and I feel he will not leave again without the proper people in charge, especially since he is the largest shareholder in the parent company. I've owned three CC products and couldn't tell you for sure which ones were produced while Bob was present or absent. I know he was in command when the first one was produced in '96, and I think he was there when the second one came off the line ( in Spring "99 ). The best one so far is my current coach produced in Feb. of 02 ( an " 03" Allure ) which I doubt had much direct influence from Bob Lee.
My experience after 40 years in industry is that the top executive sets the parameters but does not, make that cannot, follow all the details. So long as people like Doug Rutherford and Jim Cooley are still around, I will continue to buy CC ( if I ever buy again ). Bob Lee built a fine company, and I think it belittles him to think they can't produce a quality coach without him at the helm.

Well said, Walt!

It takes too many quality people in the right positions to have a successful organization, and CC seems to be doing it right.

You were so right Walt. Bob Lee isn't the only qualified person at CC. The CC is a good coach built by a well managed group.
