Locked out of side compartments, 2003 Lexa

Yahoo Message Number: 95401
Looks like I had a Yahoo groups problem, hope it's resolved, haven't seen the digests for a while, so I hope this message goes through. Please copy me (jimw@...) on any reply just in case.
I haven't fired up my 2003 Lexa in a couple months, so was getting it ready for its regular run, and to make a list of service items. Started fine, but a couple of tires are a little low (per my Silverleaf-integrated tire pressure monitors). Great, I'll just grab the Air Doubler and my hose from underneath and top them up.
Problem: Side compartments are all locked. Won't unlock with either the alarm system, or the switch inside the door. I can hear the soft click if I LOCK them, but nothing on unlock. I can't check the chassis fuses, as they're inside the rear compartment, which is of course locked on both sides, but I don't think it's a fuse as the lock side works.
I thought of prying off the switch by the door, in case the unlock side of the switch is bad, but that wouldn't explain why they don't unlock from the alarm button, which has always worked before (locks and unlocks main door, deadbolt, and side compartments whenever I push Lock or Unlock).
Started the coach, it starts and runs fine, battery voltages are all fine both house and chassis.

Any suggestions?

I don't have a Lexa, but my bay doors works the same way. But each door also has a keyed over ride that can unlock the electrically actuated door lock. WHERE'S THE KEY?

You might try unlocking the doors with the coach running. Sometimes, if the battery is a little low the doors will not unlock. If that does not work, do you have a keys for the doors. Most have a manual lock on each door.

Thanks all for the help. I had tried running, batteries/voltages are all fine.
I did get the compartments open with a key. Went through the entire ring twice, of course the key that worked didn't fit into the lock(s) the first time J

Thanks again,
Jim
