Pony Express North Salt Lake -- New Look

Yesterday, we pulled into Pony Express RV Park, North Salt Lake. We were amazed how different it looked from our last time. We have been staying at Pony Express twice a year since it opened seven years ago. We had noticed a general decline over time but during our stay last October we were appalled. The epitome of the deterioration was a decommissioned backless U-Haul truck situated on a corner site with an outdoor kitchen and a large stuffed lounge chair for the resident occupant and the resident dog who appeared to be in constant residence.

What was different this time? Well, for one thing, the Park was only about 1/2 full but this is still early and it caters to families whose kids are still in school. BUT, there was something else. Gone were all the small rigs that had multiple plastic toys, tables, propane tanks, pots and you name it around their rigs.

Curious, when we left this morning we had to find out what had occurred. We were told that a Corporation took over just a few months ago. They did not change any rules nor did they add any rules. They only enforced the rules already on the books. They said that over a few weeks the disgruntled tenants left for other parks.

Note to self: live with the rules at RV parks.

I agree Shirley. We are there as I write this. We had a problem with the water pressure, we had good pressure inside the coach and little pressure to flush the black tank. I seen a maintenance man stop by the dumpster. I mention I thought there a a problem. I told him it was not a big issue but needed tp be looked at. Within 10 minute he has another man working and solved the problem. Great service. This is a very nice park. This is our 4th time at this park.
