New Wall to Wall flexing sounds...

Yahoo Message Number: 95652
We have been stress testing the Chassis & Coach as we drive the ALCAN. (The section just South of the Alaska Border, North of Destruction Bay in the Yukon Territory - would make a great test site for manufacturers:)!)

We started noticing a new sound from the galley area, and have visible wrinkles now in some vinyl wallpaper my wife put up in place of the beveled mirrors. This is a non slide galley, High Cascade model if that matters, and it is the corner wall. One is the long wall that is the passenger side of the coach, and the other wall backs up to the shower.

Sounds like to pieces of fiberboard insulation (not sure what to call this, but what CC used on the inside wall of the shell), and the wall that backs up to the shower enclosure is wood.

My wife can't remember, nor can I, if that wall had a piece of wood trip screwed into both walls in the corner, before she removed the mirrors. (We may have old pictures at home that will tell us, but thought other CC models would have the same kind of construction?).

My thinking is that this stretch of about 2' in the corner, with a piece of wood screwed into each wall, may help avoid the 'flexing' sound we hear now. (That is more of a question, then a statement:)!) I could look for any piece of wood that would do for now, screw it in place. Then get a matching piece of cheery wood when we are home for a permanent job. Wife has enough wall paper to redo the full area if we need to. And note, the corner cabinet above and below, have wood with screws in them into both walls. (Assume screws into the passenger side outside wall, but it could also have a piece of embedded wood to bite into, or toggle bolts, not sure, as I've never been into those walls.)

Or, do we have deeper problems, and have popped some fancy structure seam job where that wall and the outside walls connect?

Opinions and advice surely appreciated.

This is specifically a 2004 Allure 40' High Cascade, two drivers side slides, with galley in the non slide passenger side.

TIA for input, and best to all,
Smitty
