AC Dryer/Circulation Pump

The left drivers side fuse box has a 20 amp fuse for AC dryer/Circulation pump that blows. Does anyone know where the AC Dryer/Circulation Pump is located and where I might get a replacement? Thanks Archie

When my dash AC fuse was blowing I ran a cheater wire from the post in front of the fuse location to my Compressor pump connection in the engine compartment. This step bypassed the fuse, relay and original wire to the engine compartment.
If I could see the Compressor clutch engage and the belt turning, then I suspected a wiring problem from fuse to relay to Compressor.

If the clutch did not engage, I suspected the clutch had failed.

Mine had failed.

You can replace the clutch but keep the Compressor. This avoids opening the system and having to vacuum and recharge the system.

Instructions are on the internet.

I chose to replace the entire compressor at 18 years and 90,000 miles of use.
The Dryer is probably a $20+ item that is available from several vendors on the internet. However, you will again have to open the system replace the dryer, vacuum the system and then recharged the system. My system took about 8 lbs of recharge and that was quite expensive.
The compressor on my Cummins is at the upper right corner of the engine and is driven by a dedicated belt.
The dryer for my front dash AC is at the lower right corner of the engine in the AC lines.
The dryer for my bedroom OTR AC is behind the middle section of the cabinets over the bed headboard. I suspect you may not have this feature and hence dryer.
I have read of folks paying $1500 to $2500 to fix their AC compressor problems on our vintage coaches because the "compressor is no longer made". I found the direct replacement on the internet for less than $300.
I did it myself for about $500+ including buying the vacuum gauges and vacuum pump from Harbor Freight.
CAUTION.... the system is highly pressurized and CAN BE DANGEROUS for a DIY type with no experience. I took the risk, got lucky and survived..... But, I did have a scary experience so cannot recommend that others do this.
