Low PSI Front Brakes

Hello All,

We have a 2000 Affinity B&B with SilverLeaf Class Dash and the last few trips the air PSI for the front brakes was slow to rise to operating level. But was the same PSI as the rear brakes once we where running.

Two days ago we traveled from Yucca Valley, CA to ORPS. While warming up and attaching our Jeep PSI was sitting around 5 to 10 PSI. Traveling down the two hills PSI was 30. Once on I-10 went to 50 but sometimes bounced from 30 to 60. This morning I started up to see if I had any leakage under the drivers seat, sprayed soapy water, and could not hear any hissing. But I can hear much these days anyway. PSI stayed at 30.

Please let me know your thoughts and any additional test I can run prior to calling a service tech or taking it to a shop.

Check the air line going to the gauge for the front tank. They tend to get brittle and crack.

I had a less extreme but similar situation. When rinsing off my engine, I saw bubbles coming from an air connection near the upper rear of the engine (towards front of coach). A quick wrench and all is now well.
