Refrigerator not working

HI every one;

We turned the frig off to defrost it.
After we finished and tried to turn the unit back on nothing.
The light on the eyebrow board at top frig did not come on nor did the frig. After checking 120v ac,12v dc, fuses, connection all ok.
Carried unit to service center, after trip to service center unit was working again. Service man changed eyebrow board inside any way.
The frig worked for about six mo.,and went out again after turning off to defrost.

Replaced eyebrow board with old board and turn on nothing.
After one or two hours unit came on.
I know there must be a lose connect BUT WHERE.
Has anyone had a similar problem, and what did they fix.
ANY HELP WOOD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

We turned off our frig to defrost.
After finishing the defrosting we turned the power switch on.
There were no light on the eyebrow board over the door and the frig did not come on.

After 30 min to 1 hr the D thing came on and cool fine.
This has happen 2 or 3 times.

I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem.
