when it rains, I have a little water dripping in at the front outside corner of the skylight. is this usually just a matter of resealing things on the roof?

Examine your skylight carefully. At 5 years constant exposure, mine had hairline cracks that were allowing moisture seepage. I had to replace the skylight - problem solved.

My shower skylight leaked in the same place. I removed as much caulking as I could and applied a great deal of Dicor self leveling caulk. It still leaked so scraped off as much of the new caulking that I could and put on Eternabond. I cleaned the surfaces with shellac thinner before application and used a homemade roller to apply pressure for establishing the bond. So far, after 3 years, no leaks.pete 2000 40' Magna CAT C10 #5892
