Towing 2006 Lexus GX470

Yahoo Message Number: 97926
We are purchasing our first coach, 2006 Country Coach and we want to toad our daily driver which is a 2006 Lexus GX470. I have read so many conflicting posts whether it should be flat towed or trailered and whether it should be in park or neutral.
We purposely purchased this car because we understood that 2007 and prior could be flat towed because it has a 4WD manual shift on the floor. Can someone with experience flat towing a GX470 give me some input on how they tow? I'm getting nervous spending all this money to get it ready to tow and burning up my transmission.

What Towing Guide says that a 2006 Lexus GX460 can be safely towed four wheels down?? I cannot find any guide that says it is OK to do so.

Have towed my '07 GX470 over 20,000 miles without any issues. Like you, I bought it for towing purposes. Transfer case-neutral; transmission-park; key in & all the way left.
