Exhaust parts

Any opinion on best source for exhaust parts for older 97 CC Affinity . Not looking for muffler but the two other exhaust pipes that go from back side of muffler up to the turbo. Are my only options calling Gillig or Country Coach. I say Gillig because I assume if I give them my VIN # they can track down my coach in there system and provide a part number.

Thank You, Von

I received a quote from Country Coach for a new and they gave me around a $600 quote for the piece that attaches to the turbo. I remember it had around a 8 week delivery time which was to long for me so I built my own. I made a fixture out of wood using the old pipe for it's dimensens. I made it out of chrome plated pieces I purchased from a truck supply house and welded it up. It still cost me around $300-400 but I had it in a day. Good thing is Country Coach was still able to supply a Pipe.

There is a muffler shop in Junction City that bought up the exhaust pipe and fitting from the Country Coach bankruptcy. When I had my Aero muffler installed last year they had an extensive selection of mandrel bent 4 and 5 in exhaust pipe and fittings. This is the shop that installed the exhaust components for Country Coach. I got the name from Jim Cooley at OMC. I could probably find the name later this week if you wanted the info.

Dan,

I am in need of a muffler for my 2000 Allure so if you can find the contact info, I would like to have it.
Safe travels!

Did you notice any improvement in mileage, or performance from your Aero muffler?

I don't track my mileage because we use the hydo-hot so much its gets too complicated for my tired mind. I do believe the Aero muffler and K&N filter which I installed at the same time significantly improved performance climbing long grades.

The C-9 in a 40ft tag is a dog and I am cresting passes about 5 mph faster that previous. I am very pleased with the result.

Thank you for the information on Junction City Muffler and Jim Cooley. I called CC parts and since my coach is a 1997 they directed me straight to Gillig to order my exhaust pipe. Talked to Gillig and they took my info and said they would call me back in a couple days. I hope to possibly deal with Ken at Junction City if they have pipes available or the equipment to reproduce the pipe I am in need of.
