NAPA also has a 10% discount on top for AAA members; don't think they have an AARP discount.

Just a caution on Filter Barn, key word is 'caution' - as things may have changed, hope they have:)!

I bought fuel filters from Filter Barn, and they were all expired. Certain filters have 'shelf live's', and once they're expired they can cause damage to your engine/trans/etc.

Mine were Fleetguards, and I talked with the Fleetguard Tech Support to validate that the date I saw stamped on the filters was what I thought it was. They advised me not to use them.

Filter Barn did replace these, and while certainly not 'fresh stock', they were well within their usage date. I do not know if they have changed their practices, and are no longer shipping filters that could be expired when you buy them. Hope they have!

I usually buy new filters at Cummins itself, always fresh stock, power club does get a bit of a discount to you.. On fuel filters, I carry two extra primary and secondary filters. When I get the new filter, it goes into my storage, and the oldest filter (will within shelf life) goes onto the coach.

Best to all,

Smitty
