Does anyone know  the part number and type  of coolant filter  and

has anyone performed a DCA coolant test on a 2004 Intrigue.  The coolant

is green and looks very clean.  Thats all I can tell .

Thanks in advance.

Bill: I don't know where you are located .but here in North Carolina, NAPA  sell's a bottle of anti freeze test strips .I don't remember the exact price, but they were less than 15.00 .With these, you can draw a bit of anti freeze and dip the strip in it then compare the color to the label on the bottle. If the anti freeze doesn't check, you can then buy an additive to bring the anti freeze back up to specs.I don't remember the number on the water filter, but NAPA also has these. Just give them your engine info as if you were buying an oil filter. Hope this helps!

Regardless of how it tests, if it is the original coolant (probably Fleetguard ES Compleat PG which is a light green), it is time to change it. You can get the test strips at a Cummins dealer and I would have someone check it with a refractometer.
