Hurricane ignition flame out

Help...gonna be cold here tonight, and I'm getting an ignition flame out on my Hurricane. The fuel filter is usually full of fuel and it is not now. Plenty of fuel on board. Any ideas?

Got it working...I think for now.  After it cycled three times and the alarm came on, I fired it back up and used the air bleed, and fuel came back in the filter, and it has stayed ignited for a few temp cycles. Fuel filter looks good.  Could I have a bad fuel pump or possibly an air leak?  I can't recall if the fuel filter was always full, or partially full.

May be an air leak in the fuel line allowing it to suck air. Short term run  it from an jug with a new line. Long term replace the fuel line.

Mine just did the same thing. I opened the bleed valve a full turn, and the furnace ignited properly and has done so for several days. I did shut the valve down to about 1/2 turn.
 A few years ago when I had an ITR tech service my Hurricane he told me to run the furnace once a month. I've been neglectful and I suppose the air in the fuel line is the price I paid. I do suspect that I will eventually have to replace the fuel line.

Thanks all...Pete, have you been running it with the bleed valve partially open?  I've been using the Hurricane routinely since early October with no issues until tonight. Seems to be fine now.

I have been running the furnace with the bleed valve partially open ever since I purchased the coach in 2010. This recent ignition problem I had is the first time the furnace failed to start. The ITR tech service guy left the valve partially open after servicing the furnace so I just assume it needs to be left that way.
 I believe the service manual says that replacing the fuel hose may be needed if the problem continues.

What you need to do, is cut the bleeder tube that runs back to the tank,  Put the tube in a clear bottle.  Then open the bleeder and make sure that you can get it to the point that when you look in the the clear bottle, that there is no bubbles in the fuel that you are pumping into it.
CC has a problem with cracking fuel line coming off the main tank (fuel supply line).  If this is the problem you will keep sucking air (Bubbles in the bottle).
If that is your problem, you will need to get the line replaced to the tank.  You can use an external tank with to supply fuel to your hurricane if this is your problem.

Thanks Bob.  After I bled the line last night, she has been working like a champ!  I will keep your suggestions at hand should she give up soon.

Take a separate supply of fuel and attache to the fuel imput for the Huricane. If it fires up then you know you have a problem with the fuel lines.
