Finding a scale to weigh each wheel/corner

Yahoo Message Number: 99871
I have read multiple articles and advice to get your coach weighed at each individual wheel/corner in order to determine things such as weight distribution, tire pressure settings, etc.
How does one find a facility that has such a scale?  I have checked several truck stops and travel centers near me (I am in Minnesota about 30 miles NW of Minneapolis) but all I have found are drive on total weight scales, nothing with individual corner separate readings.

Thanks in advance

Mark. Check with Precision Frame in Elk River on 169. They do a lot of motor homes Bob  06intrigue. 12047

Bob, isn't Precision on Hwy 10, or is 169 as well? Use Dick Lorntson for all my chassis/tire/alignment work. A+.

Mark,

Here in Oregon the state owned scales along the highways are always open even when the scale is closed. I just find one that is unattended and drive one front wheel on the scale. Then pull up and put both front wheels on the scale. Simple arithmetic give you the individual weight. Do the same with the rear. Cheap and simple. Hopefully the scales are the same in your state.

Thanks guys. Found it right on 169/10 near 101.
I'm getting new tires soon and want to get an accurate weight to calculate inflation pressures & stuff.

BTW, I have heard from my coach's previous owner that there is a small group of Country Coach owners in Minnesota. I know I have seen one or two other CCs at the Cummins shop in White Bear Lake.
If there's any organized club or even email list of MN CC owners please let me know. I'd love to get together sometime and share stories.

I was pretty happy when we started seeing the place we go for excellent work being discussed this morning, and now to see this is even better!  We live near the little village of Welch, south of Hastings, have owned our 06 Inspire for 9 years and would enjoy  getting together and certainly sharing rv stories as well as how our rvs are doing being that nobody has a very new one, at least in years.

We also have used Precision and the work and knowledge are the best! We also have a CC 06 Inspire# 51948 Genoa. We've owned it 4+ and 37k miles later. Love it! Home base New Richmond, Wi. Jeff and Kate

Great!  Maybe some others from around the area will post where they are!  We come to New Richmond a couple of times a winter to watch grandkids of ours who play for St. Paul Capitals (used to be Highland) play hockey.  We bought ours in April 2006 at LazyDays  in FL.  We sure like it.  Mary Frederick 06 Inspire 51784

Me too. Former long time River Falls, WI residents. Will be in the Twin Cites in a few weeks. Been to New Richmond many times, but never tubing.
