Driving during the Day versus Driving at Night

HI Folks,

I have switched over to driving at night, starting between 9 and 10 pm.
We secure the house in the afternoon and take a nap in the coach before we start.
By about 10 am the next day we find a place to stay the day.
We feel the pros of less traffic, cooler roads, getting though large cities is a plus in traveling farther in the same amount of time. Your thoughts.

Do it all the time....  Leave the house after 7:00 pm...  and then drive 4 - 5 hours stop at a Flying J / Pilot; fuel, rest and pull in between two rigs and go to sleep until I wake up....  My wife stays in the back, I start out and when she gets up...  we are 3 more hours down the road.  We do this for all the reasons you cite.

Not me, I just don't feel comfortable with the crummy lighting that the Ford Bronco head lights produce.

I like night driving as well, except for the bugs that cake the front of the coach. I tend to avoid it for that reason alone.
