Air hose--breaking system

Yahoo Message Number: 100023
Question:  In the engine compartment (bolted back by the bumper) there are two airlines. Can these be used to tie in the Air Force Breaking system or are they installed to purge the lines (moisture, etc.).

As always, appreciate your assistance.

The Air Force braking system needs to run off the actual air brakes; in addition, there is a reservoir tank that requires installation in addition to the actual air lines. Since it's a progressive system, it requires that the actual pressure to the coach brakes be used in order to calibrate the amount of braking to the toad. I hope I explained that clearly enough.

As noted, the AF1 needs to be installed according to their specific instructions and air connections made under the coach on the actual braking air supply, along with the reservoir. The folks at SMI provide excellent tech support.
