Microwave ??

We haven't dry camped in our MH when we needed to use the microwave. We are about to go into Denali National Park so I ran the generator and every thing seems fine except no power at the microwave. Is this by design or do I have a problem? It works fine on shore power. It also has no power when on the inverter and that is probably by design as we only have a 2000  watt trace.
 Any suggestions on how it should work or what to look for would be appreciated.

Bryan.............There should be 2 circuit breakers on the front of your inverter. One is dedicated to your "‹microwave and the other feeds all of the rest of the 120 volt outlets in the coach. Sounds like one of them is tripped.

I checked and their is only one breaker on the 8 KW Onan and it of course what ok. Both breakers on the Inverter were not tripped and looked ok. I reset all breakers and checked again and now the microwave circuit is on with the generator. Not sure but all seems well.

I have an 8k Onan. I have two 15k BTU Dometic AC/heat pumps. Running both  does not trip the generator breaker or any breaker.
