A/C thermostat

Yahoo Message Number: 101505
Hello

First time back on coach and my thermostat won't control my Zone 1 A/C. Can't toggle thru or see A/C modes or options nor can I change temp level. It will control Zones 2/3.
It will control and recognize Zone 1 heat modes.
Any thoughts?

All breakers and fuses seem intact.
Thanks
Ed

If you have the 5 button thermostat, you could try a reset:

16. SYSTEM RESET
a. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF position.

b. Simultaneously depress and hold the MODE and ZONE push-buttons while turning the ON/OFF switch to ON.

FF should appear in the LCD display until the MODE and ZONE push-buttons are released.

Not sure if your year is the same. But I recently got help from some of the CC User Group Braintrust for a similar problem.

The AC units and the thermostat are connected together with a series of standard RJ-11 phone jacks in the mix. On most CC's, they accessible from underneath, once you remove the grill that holds the filter. Mine were moist with a bit of black mold on one connector.

I replaced them all, and also used electrical cleaner to clean the male side on the wires. Air Can dried them, and reconnected them all up. No more problems with the thermostat communicating with the AC units.

I've added this to my To Do list, on a yearly schedule, to unhook/clean/reconnect.

Best of luck,

Smitty
