Radiator grill cover

I own a 2005 Sunset Bay 37 CC. A friend of mine has the same unit but is a 2008. He has a louvered panel over his radiator. It appears to effect the air flow into and through the radiator et. all while the coach is moving. Does this help with cooling and might these be available somewhere?
