Water leak in front corners

Yahoo Message Number: 103306
I have a 2006 CC Inspire 360 DiVinci I bought recently. This past weekend, during a heavy rain, I identified two water leaks behind the fans on either side of the front. My first thought was marker lights leaking. I have done no investigating yet. Has anybody seen this and are there other things to check? TIA,
John

I had a leak, during a heavy rain. It was leaking on the center of the dash, right were the cat bed sits. Unhappy cat, not good. I resealed all of the marker lights. Now the cat is happy and I am pleased that the problem is solved. I used GE silicone.

John,

I have a 2007 Inspire so it may not be the same as yours. Look inside the two small cabinets on either side of the TV. On ours the side panels inside the cabinets can be removed by removing some small black screws. If yours is the same you will be able to see the entire area above the fans and should be able to see where the water is coming from.

Also there is a joint on the roof where the front clip is connected to the main body of the motor home. Your leak could be there also. The air horns are another place where leaks are common. Just clean the areas and apply some fresh Dicor and you should be good to go.

John,

I have a 2005 Inspire with the exact same issue.  Your first thought is correct. Our marker lights been deteriorated from the sun, once I replaced the lights and and applied Silicone the issue was gone.
You also may want to check and make sure the window has not come out of the rubber gasket  in the corners

John,

I have a 2005 Inspire with the same issue. I had someone go on top and identify that the problem was the deterioration of the lights on top, that allow water to work its way into the coach. We are on a three month RV trip, therefore I had the lights DUC Tapped in a way no water could enter until I do a final solution, but this solved the problem.
