07 Inspire, took out the bedroom tv, we prefer setting one on the dresser, and now I have this empty space. Trying to think of ideas for its use. More storage seems a bit boring, and the wifey will probably fill it up. Looking for ideas.

Aquarium would not be boring, especially for the fish while traveling.

Wine storage, though the bedroom location is unusual.

Massive subwoofer, but probably not an ideal location.

Smaller fridge, for say beverages. But noise and location not ideal.

Slide out dirty close hamper.

Storage - And yeah, if you build it, they will fill it:)! (This seems to be the most practical.)

Best of luck to you, and looking forward to others suggestions!

When we installed a flat screen in place of the old tube set, the TV was mounted on a hinge so it would swing out of the way to leave an open space behind. We use that to stash the booze.

Removed heavy sea anchor tube TV. Installed 28" flat screen on hinge.
Installed safe inside newly created space. Happy.

Smitty,

I thought of an aquarium as well! Wonder how the fish would survive. Wine rack seems good, but the heat up high might be a bit much. Like the laundry idea, I dont care for the television being so high. hmmmm

I can carry 4 cases of wine behind the pull out drawers of the Dinette.  I moved the safe from the closet to the lower space under the TV in the bedroom, out of site.  When I replace that TV very soon, I think I'll put a basket of the appropriate size to store all the misc computer cables. chargers, camera cables, chargers and hifi and other AV  stuff.  Maybe extra thumb drives and blank discs.  Wireless stereo headphones,  and other collectables.    The front space behind the TV I think I'll just leave empty.

we have a deep space where the ld tv was removed with a hinged front that we use to store all the Owners manuals and receipts for the coach.. It is also a great place to 'hide' things.

Thanks for all ideas, settling in on using it for computer stuff, cables, wireless router since the cable is there, chargers, a small safe and my seeing glasses inventory.

Tom,

Yes it is for sale although I have not advertised anywhere except on this forum and Irv2.  When we find the right new owner he/she will also receive a ton of spare parts and misc RV related items.  As an example; tool box with socket set, ignition switch, relays, carpet roll, ladder, sun screen, comfort control, rebuilt alternator, and basically 12 years worth of RV "stuff."  I intend to make a full list when we get home next week.
