Mail Forwarding

Greetings,

Me wife and I are leaving for a 16 week trip at the end of April so we will need a mail forwarding service. I don't expect to be any one place for very long so a Virtual Mailbox/ Mail Forwarding service looks like the way to go.
Any recommendations as to which is the best company to use would be appreciated.

George, to each his own when it comes to mail forwarding but the procedure we find that works best for us and has been the most cost efficient is to purchase several of the prepaid USPS Priority Ship Anywhere for one price boxes, then ask a neighbor or family member to collect the mail, toss out the obvious junk stuff and then every 2-3 weeks when we know we're going to be at a destination for 3-4 days, will ask the neighbor or family member to forward the mail collected to date.
May not work for you or others but does for us.

Hi George,

I use MyHomeAddress in Emery, SD for mail forwarding. They also handle my vehicle registrations each year.
I send them an email when I want snail mail forwarded and have them send it to me at General Delivery at the nearest post office. I usually let the local post master know it's coming but that isn't necessary. When they ship priority mail, you get a tracking number so will know when it arrives at the post office and then pick it up.
Works for me.
