Step Light

There is a small light on the right side of the entry step, floor height. I replaced the bulb bit cannot figure out how to turn the light on. Any one have experience with this?

I believe you need to have switch that says entry turned on (switch on right as you come in). I believe door & screen need to be open.

Mine goes on when the door is opened, also the outside under the step goes on at the same time.

Had the same problem, the yellow light under the step works after a week I gave up on the inside step light and installed a battery operated 10 LED motion light from Costco. Works great, lights up the ground and steps.

I installed it on the first step in the right hand corner with the lights shinning to the other side. I used velcro strip to hold in place. If you go out at night it comes on before you open the door. This is about the same price as Costco. Have used it going on 3 years, change batteries about once a year.
