RV Cover

Starting to think about winter storage and looking at options. Anyone have experience or recommendations for covers? Looking at the following:

The covers work (sort of) BUT!, they are a real witch getting them up onto the top of the coach to put them on. If you are uncomfortable about walking and leaning over the side of of your our coach putting them on and off, I would not recommend one. I bought one for my 07 and it did not last a season. Between the roof horns and antenna's they tore over the first winter I had it on. Some have had a great experience with them but I did not. Mine was the same type you commented on.

I have bought two of the covers you mentioned and both lasted just over a year each. They tore at the seams and they eventually rotted away. I would NEVER BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS.

Bought one and used it once. Ask them what it weighs wet and you are trying to take it off. My roof is 10 years old and in perfect condition and has been out doors the whole time. I wash it and seal it with a quality product with UV protection.

Once a year I wash the roof with regular car wash, clean it with 3M Marine Color/Gloss restorer (mild rubbing compound) wash it to remove grit, and polish with Starbrite Premium Marine Polish with PTEF (UV protection). It is a lot of work I do it a section at a time over a couple of days but when finished it looks like new. I have never had any of the chalking issues many people seem to experience.
