1997 Intrigue Step Well Cover Disassemble

Getting ready to replace the wonderful San Antonio Rose (pink) carpet in our 1997 Country Coach. Was wondering if anyone knows how the step well cover is attached and how to remove it so we can remove the old carpet from it. Had it all the way extended and didn't feel any threaded nut or rod on the backside of the slide like the newer CC's. If no one knows, I am just going to remove the metal supports on either side of the stair well and proceed from there using trial and error. Thanks!

We have a 97 intrigue #10368, with the mauve carpet also.

Hey Mike,

Was going through some old pictures to post for another guy for ideas in replacing the overhead CRT TV, and noticed I never posted any pictures of the final product of the carpet/tile replacement. Knowing you also had the "mauve" carpeting, thought you might be interested.

Jesse,

Our carpet is still in terrific shape, just a slight fade at the entrance door. My wife loves the color, and since that color is now coming back she loves it more. Looks like you did a good job. Maybe one day we will change it, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. What state do you live In?

I agree that carpeting was very good quality and upheld well over the past 20 years or so, it was just a little too pink and green for us ha ha! We live in Nebraska, how about yourselves?
