Total power shutdown

Yahoo Message Number: 106144
Hi,

New owner here. Had my 96 Affinity plugged in to my 50 Amp power source. Came in one day to look around and had no power to anything. Started the engine and everything went back to normal. Any thoughts?

1. Check your shore power socket for power.

2. Check your breakers to see if off.
3. Check your shore power cord for continuity.

If all are ok, check your transfer switch. It may be stuck on the default generator side. Perhaps a light tap on the box with a hammer might spring it free. Otherwise unplug the power cord, and open up the transfer switch. The contacts may need to be tightened or cleaned.

It is possible that you also had the inverter on with no concurrent recharging of the house battery by shore power. The battery slowly expired as the inverter drained its charge.

So check you batteries also.
