Tucson, AZ Campgrounds???

Yahoo Message Number: 8068
At the last minute our plans have changed. We were going to tour Mexico, but one of our travel companions needs some surgery, so that trip will wait till next year. Since we are in AZ now, we want to spend some time touring the Tucson, AZ area. We would appreciate any recommendations for good campgrounds and any things that are "a must see" in that general area of AZ.

Hi, Denny

How have you and Gayle been?

We ran into you at Kentucky Horse Park around Halloween.
We are in the Scottsdale area, on our way to Las Vegas for the International Builders Show, then thru Quartzite and on to Benson.
We are going to tour Kartchner, Tombstone and Bisbee on our way back to Mich. If you decide to see Kartchner, call right away (520-586- 2283) they sell out months ahead for weekends and weeks ahead for weekdays. I called 3 weeks ahead for Jan 26, and had to choose between an 8:30 am tour and 4:30pm tour. It is well worth it, though.
Take care, maybe we will cross paths again.
