2006 Magna black tank back flush

Hey there! Sorry (well I'm not really sorry for myself because the last thing I want to dig into is the black water tank) I haven't ever had to access the water tanks yet. My tanks Drain and Flush pretty easily. I AM surprised that the flush would be 100% blocked though. I would think that even if it was clogged, you would get SOME water through. In the meantime you CAN flush through the potty on the black side and by running water down the sinks on the grey side. Before I really dug into it I would want to really understand the mechanics of the flush valve system. For example, could there by a kink, collapsed hose or other problem before you actually get to the flush valve that is inside or on top of the tank? I have super hard water at my home in Iowa and clogged shower nozzles are a constant problem (even with a water softener) Even then, it is rare that 100% of the pipe or nozzles are clogged, so before tearing into it in your coach, I would search hard for perhaps another issue that is causing the problem. One last thought, is there a small screen at the inlet (where you hook up the hose) that could be clogged? That would be a 10 cent fix..... :) Let me know what you find out.

You need to remove the flush head and remove it and drill out the holes to 1/8

I am thinking it is a check valve some place. You know, 100% block, hard to believe that is hard water salts plugging the nozzle. I am going to start tracing that line. Anybody know where the check valve on the back flush line is located?

On most flush systems there is one in the hose attachment and a backflow preventer, looks like sprinkler valve.
In our Dolphin it is in the bathroom wall with an a cess panel by th toilet.

I have the same problem on both my black and grey water flush lines on my 2003 intrigue I am convinced it is the (from lack o ma better word) the anti siphon valves. I cannot for the life me find out where they. I talked to the people at country coach and they are no help at all. I put inlets with screens on the passenger side of the tanks and bypasses the anti siphon valves. Anyone that knows where those valves are I would like t know.

not in bath room or bathroom panels anywhere I've looked. mine are both stuck shut.

I see two anti siphon valves on the drain lines for the kitchen sink and 1 bathroom sink, but these are on ABS drain lines.

If you cannot find anything behind an access panel in the bathroom, try removing kitchen draws or pantry draws near and the same side of the bathroom. If I remember correctly, the vacuum break was on the wall of the bath vanity on my Intrigue and behind a draw in the kitchen close to the bathroom. I have never seen one fail, iy has always been a clogged nozzle.

The back flow preventer for the black tank flush on my 04 Inspire is located between the back of the shower wall and the outside wall of the coach. I am not aware if this is a common location of other models. Access is gained by removing the two non hinged doors on the hutch the houses the water heater. To accomplish door removal, the dome shaped plugs must be pried out then the screws can be removed.
