Charge air cooler

Yahoo Message Number: 106994
Hello folks,

Hoping someone has a Duralite part number for a replacement charge air cooler for my 2000 Affinity 42', Cat C12 coach. I would entertain other brands if anyone has a good source where I can procure one.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Jim

Cummins NW at Coburg recently installed a Duralite Charge Air Cooler in my 2000 Allure. I was very happy with their work. They have a separate building that is dedicated to motorhomes. I dealt with Andy Squire, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. His number is 541-687-0000 ext 5011.

Thanks Jim,

I am actually just looking for the right part number, I am doing to R&R. I have been working with Duralite based on measurements and we are getting close to a match but thought maybe someone might have a part number which would make life a lot easier.

Did you call radiator supply house in Oregon. They have a plate design and comes with a lifetime warranty . I bought one and it was a direct fit.

When my CAC died I ordered from Specialty Logistics in Eugene Oregon. Told them coach year and engine and got the one that fit. Came with lifetime warranty.

Thank you all for taking the time to share info, truly is appreciated and keeps me confident that there is enough wisdom out there to keep my coach on the road for years to come.
Once I got the CAC out of the coach and on the bench for a pressure test I discovered the leak to be a crack in the tank. A clean 6" tig weld and she is holding 30lbs of pressure for the past 40 plus hours. Feeling confident enough to go ahead and put everything back together and be back in business.

Thanks again for all you who regularly share your wisdom on this forum.
