Buzzing that the propane cools the freezer, but not the fridge area - as the same cooling unit feeds both areas (I believe...). We usually found our Norcold 1200 (2004 Allure) propane kept the freezer and fridge cooler then the electric.
Has the burner portion of the propane been serviced lately? And yes, with the vent off of the back of the unit from outside, do look into the areas with a flashlight. Look for cobwebs and any signs of leaking coolant. If any signs of leaking coolants, unplug the unit and toss it. (IMO - They're pure junk. Before we added our Solar Panel and expanded our Battery Bank, I tried hard to retain our Propane for boon docking. I spent the money to pull the unit and install the Amish Cooling Unit from RV Pines. I added additional pancake fans to the rear to expand the air flow over the coils. One added pair set up via thermocouple to cycle on when needed. The second pancake pair, mounted down low and angled up towards the back of the fridge to be sure to cycle air over the coiled cooling lines, was connected to an on/off switch I had inside to the coach. Would turn these on manually whenever we were in very hot and or humid conditions. We also added the SS-30 Halon Extinguisher, and a battery powered smoke detector in the cabinet behind the fridge. I elected to not do the last Mickey Mouse recall from Norcold.)
Once we determined that our expanded battery bank (800AH's of X's 4 L16 Lifelines) and 1200W's of Solar Panel were more then robust enough to cover our day to day electrical needs, I tossed the Norcold and went to the Samsung route. Only downside, was losing the junk drawer below our fridge. But we both like the more room, and gee - ice cream that is not soft:)!
Best of luck to you on this,
