Coach taillight wiring

Wiring my 2006 Allure to tow my 2014 Grand Cherokee.

Need to know whether the taillight system is combined or separate. i.e. is there a separate stop light bulb and turn signal bulb or only one bulb for both functions?>

Most domestic autos use the brake light as the turn signal so 1 dual filament bulb is used. The turn signal flasher just turns the brake light on and off. Many foreign autos use a separate bulb for the brake light.

My Country Coach uses the same bulb for the brake and turn signal. So the bulb for the brake light and turn signal have three wires going to it. Ground, Running light (when headlight are on) and Brake/Turn signal light.

Thanks. What I have found out is that the Allure has separate bulbs for brake and turn signal (separate system) but that the wiring has be converted to a combined signal so that it acts lack a dual filament system (combined system). Both Hitch Source and Roadmaster have said that most modern motor homes are wired this way. I am not sure I completely understand it but I did confirm that if the brakes are applied then both the brake and turn signal leads at the coach plug are hot.
