External Air hose Connection

I've heard many RV Owners talking about installing External Air Hose connections on their air tanks. Can anybody explain how this is done and where I can get the connection to install myself.

Thanks for the advice! I'm familiar with the 3 air connectors. They had lever switches attached so that you can release air/condensation from your air tanks. If these are the right valves, then all I need to do is attach a quick release valve connector to the one valve which hasn't been identified as of yet? Are we on the same page so far? If so, then I should be able to put this together and get the parts I need from Harbor Freight tools which have a large selection of air tools and connectors! The air valves are located in the front drivers side forward compartment. If you know which valve you connected too, maybe I can experiment and attach the connector in the same manner? The valve connector you speak of replace the existing valve or connect to it?

I connected a 1/4" male plug onto the outside valve per your instructons and it fit perfectly. I attached a quick coupler to either end of a flexible air hose I bought from Harbor Frieght.
COST:

1/4" male plug which came in a kit of 5: $1.97 Extra Coupler(Brass) : $2.29 25' of flexible air hose: $6.99

Ability to have air when I want it: PRICELESS

The 2003 Allure has an air hose connection in the compartment under the driver's seat. It is just one connection, and according to Damon is specifically for the air hose.

As a sidebar, what is the best way to use the air hose? Should the engine be running? I tried to use mine once, with the engine running, but it took a very long time to get the tires up to pressure. Am I doing something wrong?

You want to use it with the engine running, but you also want to have someone pump the brake pedal so that the pressure drops (I think it is below 90 lbs) significantly. This forces the compressor to turn on and produce either greater pressure or more volume. I don't know which, but I DO KNOW that it's about the only way to get the tire pressure above 100 lbs.

Please check out one approach that CC recommended for a 2002 Allure. Their preference, when I spoke with them, was to install it in the front left compartment using the parts they supplied me (and shown in the photos).

Go to PHOTOS and select the first folder called "Air Lines".
