Sticky Windows

Yahoo Message Number: 108004
I remember awhile ago seeing a couple of recommended solutions for windows that are difficult to slide open. We have cleaned them well, but I thought someone posted that there was something you could lubricate them with.

Thanks,

I use Silicon spray, doesn't attract dirt like WD 40. But you may have to use it more often.

Yes...I made inquiries. Some recommended Pledge, which I tried. Initially it seemed to work fine, but only for a couple of days. Then I tried another recommendation...Silicone spray. So far, I find it working pretty good. I just don't want to destroy the existing rubber seals...that would be expensive.

Spray silicone is what I used.  When the carrier dried, the windows worked like a charm.

you can try all the home brew remedies you like but there is one product made for this that works like a charm:

Amazon.com : Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Protectant and Polish (13-Ounce) :...

No reason to use anything else

I saw where someone on here recommended Pledge Furn Polish. Tried it on the two sliders on my Prevost, Seems to work, but don't know how often you would have to use it as yet.
