Antifreeze circulating pump

Waiting to get back on the road near Knoxville, Tenn. Traveling from Milton, WV to Newman, Ga and noticed the circling pump on the cabin heating system was leaking. Made it to the campground without over heating or an engine shutdown. Called a local mobile RV tech who was reluctant to work on anything engine related but after explaining the problem he agreed to try and help. My luck has changed. This guy was great (Reece Mobile RV Repair). If you have RV trouble near Knoxville, Tenn, this is the man to call. We removed the pump and connected old inlet and outlet together so the fluid would continue to circulate throughout the system. Also pulled the fuse for that pump. I decided to pay this man extra as I though his fee was a little on the low side. NAPA near here has ordered my antifreeze which should be here around noon. Needed to stay an extra nite at Anchor Down RV Resort but this is a very nice resort.

Similar occurrence with my 2000 Magna except I lost 15 gallons of coolant (5 gallons at a time) before making it to Altofer CAT in East Peoria, IL. Had them do the same; bypass the pump. I pulled in about 7pm and they had me repaired by 10:30pm. Spent the night on their lot and rolled first thing in the morning. Can't say enough good abouth them.

After this repair I pulled the fuse for the pumps. The only problem on my coach is that the heater for the mirrors is on the same fuse. I had a foggy/high humidity day when my mirrors fogged. Might want to check on your coach to see if anything else is on the fuse you pulled.

I've since put a switch on the pump circuit so I can shut them off if I want. I usually want.
