Anyone have suggestions for removing scratches and haze on the thick clear shield mounted on front of coach? Is this made of lexan?

I just used Novus Aircraft polish # 2. Using a buffer I took out about 80% of the scratches and haze. Took a little while, but it looks good. Afterward I waxed the entire area.
Hope this helps.

Steve,

I purchased my Country Coach from Holland Motor Homes of San Diego about 10 years ago. Roger Tischendorf was a seasoned sales rep who sold me the coach. At that time he advised me to use Flitz Metal Polish on the "Coach Armor" acrylic shield. I have been using it about once a year since 2006. It removes most small scratches, returns the brilliance and leaves a protective coating. I apply to both inside and outside surfaces as you would apply a cleaner/polish. Then, I burnish with a power buffer with lambs wool pad. Just use care not to apply too much pressure to the acrylic.
It always looks good especially when you consider that it is 18 years old.
