Hello out there new to site , looking to buy 02 country coach has not been used in last 6 years with only 30,000 miles . How bad is this on brakes, tranny, motor. Etc. Has been stored under roof for 5 of the them, I'm planning on presale inspection, not sure how much can be seen with inspection. Thanks Bob

This is not the coach you seek. Walk away from this one, plenty to be had in better condition. Unless, he's giving it away, because you'll spend more than what it's worth.

You want a coach that has been used regularly. "Lot Rot" is usually worse than heavy use. Of course if it was stored inside during the entire six years and things were done to preserve it while in storage that is different. Unless it was free I would look for a regularly used rig.

You will be absolutely amazed at what can go wrong with a coach that is not used, especially one that is loaded down with trinkets like CC is. Been working on one for two years and still ain't got this thing livable .I've spent a fortune a fortune on this thing and thought it.was ready to go. Took it on a trial run, hooked up the water and it was running out up in under the coach. Upon further inspection, I found that instead of having a couple of hand valves for low point drains, this thing has (so far i've counted five) electric drain valves of which two are pouring water back out as fast as it goes in. Had to tear the water bay apart to get to these things and now begins the hunt for parts.I agree, with Bob, unless you can get this thing for a bargain basement price and have plenty of time and know how to work on this thing, you will be better of saying thanks but no thanks !!!

Yuell,

Yes I discovered the 5 valves in the water compartment when camped in Manzanita Oregon. I pushed the button to drain the fresh water and turned off when empty. Started to fill back up with nice Oregon water, and could hear falling water somewhere in the distance. One of the five valves stayed open. Four trips to the local Manzanita hardware store and I disabled and stopped up the #5 pump. I rediscovered the water bay again this summer (I do regularly use this bay to change water filters.) when my water pump went out in Ennis Montana. Fortunately I carry a spare. 4-5 hours later and it works again.

Lots of parts in these rigs. Sitting for years is bad for them. I still like mine.

Where did you find the kit's for these valves, or did a cleaning fix the problem?? I went to Goyne and they say that it will be a 4 to 6 week delivery on these things ..Mine is doing exactly like yours ..Hook the hose up, and it goes trait through one of the valves that is not closing!!
