This question is for those who have installed new wood flooring in their coaches. We are going to replace our existing flooring for wood or engineered wood. Debating to use wood or pergo type flooring. Floating floor or glue down. Looking for pros and cons

I would never use a Pergo type product, my experience has been that it is easily scratched and also easily damaged by water. That being said, we just saw a coach that had what I thought was the most beautiful hardwood floors and it turned out to be what is called Luxury Vinyl Plank, I've since heard it called Luxury Vinyl Tile also (LVT). We just had it put into a rental property and it is beautiful, and we are considering it for or 2005 Magna. The LVT is highly water resistant, scratch resistant, and can work with heated floors, and it is relatively inexpensive.

There are a number of companies that make it, we used Mannington ArduraMax in our rental, and are looking at different samples to figure out what would look best with our light maple interior in our coach.

Hi, Tom. We just put LVT down in our bath closit on a diagonal pattern in our house it looks like real tile even with grout joints. If we replace the carpet in 2000magna living front area will will use the LVT in the coach. Made by armstrone, good luck Charles5886

I replaced the carpet in our 2005 Inspire two years ago with engineered hardwood, hickory.
I have been very pleased with the look and durability of the floor.
Mine was a DIY project that I would rate as not difficult.
