Co-Pilot Seat leg-rest quit working...

Yahoo Message Number: 109507
The leg-rest just stopped cranking while my SO was lowering it the other day. Happily it's about 90% down, so it's not an obstacle. But I'd like to get it back working if I can. Looked under the seat from several positions/angles and found the following: -I can just see the wires from that leg-rest motor but can't reach them, and can't follow them as they go into the "upper reaches" of the seat cavity -I can't get to the leg-rest switch or find wires from it from anywhere because of the seat frame and other wiring in the way -Found two fuses in the mess of wiring - one 10A blade and one 2A in-line. Both are good.
-There are three hot-taps each on the hot and ground power supply wires coming into the seat. There are 3 ground wires on the 3 ground taps, but only two hot wires on the three hot side taps. I.e. there is one unused hot side tap. But I can't find a "loose" spade connection that might have come out of that empty tap... Anybody know what else I might do short of unbolting the damn chair and upending it. If I do that, I'm afraid I'll just screw up some of the rest of the seat wiring/systems.
