Dash board

Has anyone had the problem of the vinyl covering in front of the driver coming loose from the plastic facing where all the gauges are? Mine is loose almost all the way across the top now, and also loose at spots on either side. I am thinking of taking the front of the dash off than try to restreach and glue the vinyl. Might be a fruitless task.
