Factory alarm system

Yahoo Message Number: 110073
My alarm went off this afternoon for no apparent reason. Does anyone know what might trigger the alarm other than the door or any of the compartment doors being opened? I have not had prior instances of false alarms, so I don't think it's a misaligned pin, although that possibility is always possible and I will check that out when I get the opportunity.

The coach is sitting next to my home and is plugged in for power.

Some systems have a motion detection option that are pretty sensitive. It could also be a bad ground in the system. Oxidized connections seem to have a mind of their own, too. The plungers on the bay doosr are my main intermittent operation culprits. TWI 2004 Intrigue 11731

Mine doesn't have motion detection. I'll have to take a closer look at the bay doors (when it warms up some here :) )

Well, with no coach information it is impossible to know which alarm system you have. There have been several over the years.

Also, it would be nice to know your name..

Well, my name is the same as my username and I stated which coach in the followup message, 2007 Intrigue 12149.

The alarm system is the TriMark system set by the remote keyfob.

If you have no motion detector, which is usually mounted underthe dash in the center, then it is a bad connection or pin switch.
